Affordable Veterinary Care for Pet Owners in Dublin
The NSPCA Mobile Veterinary Clinic provides subsidised veterinary care to eligible pet owners across Dublin, helping ensure that pets can access essential preventative healthcare regardless of financial circumstances.
Our mobile clinic focuses on preventative care and offers:
- Routine health checks
- Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Parasite prevention and treatment
- Veterinary advice and guidance
A standard consultation costs €30. Please note this does not include microchipping, medications or any additional treatments that may be required.
If your pet requires further treatment, referrals to NSPCA Dublin or another veterinary provider may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Important Policy Information
To help promote responsible pet ownership:
All existing and new Mobile Clinic clients must agree to have their pet(s) neutered within the first year of registration.
Pets registered with the Mobile Clinic must also be registered with a private veterinary practice.
A maximum of three pets per household may be registered with the service at any one time.
Am I Eligible?
The NSPCA Mobile Veterinary Clinic is available to pet owners living in the Dublin area who are in receipt of eligible social welfare payments.
Proof of eligibility will be required.

- Supplementary Welfare Allowance
- Disability Allowance
- Blind Pension
- One-Parent Family Payment
- Farm Assist
- Guardian’s Payment (Non-Contributory)
- Qualified Adult Allowance
- Pre-Retirement Allowance
- State Pension (Non-Contributory)
- Widow’s, Widower’s or Surviving Civil Partner’s Pension (Non-Contributory)
- Carer’s Allowance
- Working Family Payment

Before You Attend
For the safety and comfort of all clients, pets and staff, please ensure:
- Dogs are kept on a lead and wear a secure collar.
- Dogs that require a muzzle are muzzled before attending.
- Cats and small animals are transported in a secure pet carrier.
- Animals being microchipped are accompanied by their owner.
- Photo ID and proof of address (such as a recent utility bill) are provided when required.

Once we receive your application, it will be reviewed by our team. If you meet the eligibility criteria, we will contact you to arrange an appointment.
Applications are reviewed within 7–10 days.
