The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) is delighted to announce that its recent Preventive Health Campaign, supported by Chanelle Pharma, has raised an incredible €27,940 for animals in NSPCA care across Ireland.

Launched on 1st April 2026, the campaign aimed to raise awareness of the importance of regular flea and worm prevention while supporting the NSPCA’s vital animal welfare work. Through the generous support of Chanelle Pharma, 50 cent from every sale of FleawayPlus and Wormaway products during the four-week campaign was donated to the NSPCA, resulting in a total contribution of €27,940.

To mark the success of the campaign, representatives from Chanelle Pharma recently visited the NSPCA’s Dublin Centre to present a cheque for €27,940. During their visit, the team toured the facility and met some of the animals whose lives will be directly impacted by this generous contribution.

The funds raised will help the NSPCA rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need, while also supporting its ongoing advocacy work to improve animal welfare across Ireland.

Suzanne McGovern, Interim CEO of the NSPCA, said:

“We are incredibly grateful to Chanelle Pharma for their generous support of this campaign, and to every pet owner who took part. Raising €27,940 is a fantastic achievement and will make a real difference to the animals in our care.

Every day, we see animals arriving at our centres in need of a second chance. This donation will help us continue providing the highest standard of care and support to those animals when they need it most. We were thrilled to welcome the Chanelle Pharma team to our Dublin centre and show them firsthand the impact of their support.”

Speaking on the campaign, Russell Good, Head of Animal Health- Ireland said

“At Chanelle Pharma, improving the lives of animals is at the heart of everything we do. We are so proud to have raised €27,940 to support the NSPCA and the incredible work they carry out every day protecting and caring for animals in need. From this campaign we hope it encouraged pet owners to take simple preventative steps to protect their pets’ health, while also helping animals that need care and a second chance.”

The NSPCA extends its sincere thanks to Chanelle Pharma, participating retailers, and all the pet owners who supported the campaign. Their generosity will help ensure that animals in need receive the care, protection, and second chance they deserve.
