These independent souls come from all walks of life. Some are younger cats who would thrive in a barn or shed where they can put their natural instincts to good use. Others are older cats who would simply love a quiet rural home with a cosy place to sleep, regular meals, and someone to keep an eye on them.

All of our barn and country cats require a safe, warm, and dry shelter, with access to fresh food and water every day. To help them settle and bond with their new surroundings, they must be kept securely indoors for at least 6 weeks before being given access to the outdoors.

While they may not all be lap cats, they still deserve kindness, comfort, and a place to call home. Many will form their own special bond with their people, greeting you for dinner or keeping you company from a respectful distance.
