Beau is a 2 year old male mixed breed bun who came into the shelter after his owner could not look after him anymore. Beau is a very happy-go-lucky bun and has been thriving since coming in to us. He is very nosy and curious and loves to follow us around when he’s outside exercising. He was quite hormonal when he first arrived which is to be expected from an unneutered male, but now he’s been neutered he’s going to be such a sweetheart and will be a wonderful addition to a family 🙂

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rabbit from the NSPCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend rabbits be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 140 x 60cm for one rabbit with plenty of indoor free roam time.

Rabbits require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.

All our rabbits are microchipped, vaccinated and neutered/spayed.
