Birkin is a male English Spot/ Rex Cross rabbit who came into the shelter through our inspectors after being found with other rabbits living in awful conditions. He was subjected to a lot of unwanted attention and as a result is a little wary of people. This poor boy is such a gentle soul and just needs a chance to learn to trust people again. We know that once he comes out of his shell he’ll be the most cuddley lovely little man. He has the softest most adorable coat and is loving all the food and comfort he’s getting here. He would do best in a quieter home where he can have a chance to build his confidence again. Could you be the one to give Birkin what he’s always dreamed of?

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rabbit from the NSPCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend rabbits be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 140 x 60cm with plenty of indoor free roam time.

Rabbits require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.

All our rabbits are microchipped, vaccinated and spayed/neutered.
