Buster came into the NSPCA through our inspectors as an owner surrender. He arrived with pressure sores and alopecia on his legs, having spent his life living outside alone all year round.
At 9 years old, Buster truly deserves a life filled with warmth, comfort, and companionship. Despite everything, you would never guess his age, he still has plenty of life in him and enjoys getting out for his walks. After a stroll, he’s more than happy to curl up in a cosy bed for a well-earned snooze.
Buster absolutely loves people. His tail never stops wagging when he meets someone, whether they’re new or familiar and he thrives on companionship.
We would love to find him a home where someone is around most of the day so he can enjoy the company he has missed for so long. He is an affectionate, sweet boy who will make a wonderful addition to a family who appreciate the Staffie breed.
Due to his background of living outside alone, Buster may need time and patience to adjust to life in a home. He would be best suited to a household with teenagers who can understand and respect his needs.
Buster could potentially live with another dog, pending a successful meet.
