Edwin is an 8-year-old Hound looking for a patient family to help him continue his journey.
When Edwin arrived into the care of the pound as a stray, he was in heartbreaking condition. He was painfully underweight, covered in pressure sores, old scars, and open wounds—a clear sign that life had not been kind to him.
Thankfully, those days are now behind him. With plenty of care, good food, and veterinary treatment, Edwin is making wonderful progress and is well on the road to recovery.
He is a gentle, friendly soul who can be a little timid when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar surroundings, which is completely understandable given everything he has experienced. With patience and reassurance, we’re confident his confidence will continue to grow.
Edwin enjoys life’s simple pleasures—a gentle stroll, a good stretch, a comfortable bed, and plenty of peaceful snoozes. After everything he has endured, Edwin deserves a family who will show him the kindness, security, and love he has waited so long to find.
