Roman is a 4 month old lop cross who came into the shelter with his mother, Patty, and 4 other siblings. Patty came into the shelter when her babies were no more than 2 weeks old, and she had 5 of them! Even though this time was stressful and she had been living in bad conditions, Patty gave her babies everything and has been an excellent mother. Her babies have been thriving since coming in to us. Roman is an active, happy bun who loves exploring everywhere. He’ll make a wonderful addition to a home with another neutered bun or a home where he’ll have someone to play with 🙂
Thank you for choosing to adopt a rabbit from the NSPCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend rabbits be kept indoors in an enclosure that’s a minimum of 140 x 60cm with plenty of indoor free roam time.
Rabbits require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.
All our rabbits are microchipped and vaccinated and neutered.
