Meet Holly! Holly originally came into the shelter as a puppy and was adopted shortly after. Unfortunately, Holly has found herself back in the shelter looking for a new family. She has had so much change in her life and as a result, she has some insecurities that has made shelter life difficult for her. She can lack confidence around new people and needs time and space to build trust. Since she has come back to the shelter, Holly has been spending some quiet time with the staff in the office. She loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch and it is heartbreaking to see how much she does not want to go back to shelter life at the end of the day.
Despite her insecurities, Holly has the most playful and giddy personality and will greet us with the biggest smile every morning and when you meet her on walks. She will be best suited to a quieter adult only home, where her new family will give her the time and patience that she needs to allow her to settle in along with committing to her training to help her build her confidence and go at her own pace. Holly may be suited to a home with another dog pending a dog meet.
