Meet Sammy! This boy was transferred into us from another rescue along with his brother. They were initially a little shy and unsure of their new surroundings, but have been coming out of their shell and starting to show us their personality. Sammy is a very active collie, who will require an active home, with a family who are looking for a dog to do training with and enjoy lots of exercise and fun activities together. He is very intelligent and collies love to work hard, so he would really enjoy continuing his training and learning new tricks and commands with his family. We think Sammy would thrive in a more rural environment, or in quieter areas, as lots of noise and traffic can be a little stressful. Sammy could possibly live with another confident dog, pending a dog meet. He is best suited to a home with older children. Could this fun loving, smarty pants be your new companion?
