Meet Scooby! This boy came into our care through our inspectors with his pal Maisy. It was understandably stressful arriving into a loud shelter environment, but Scooby has taken it all in his stride. He is awaiting surgery for a perianal hernia with our specialist vet and we would love to find him his very own forever home to recover in once he has had his surgery as a shelter is no place for a recovering animal. Although Scooby and Maisy get on, they are not overly bonded. Because of this we are looking for their very own separate homes. Scooby could possibly live in a home with another dog of similar size. He does not have much experience with larger dogs and can be unsure. Don’t let his age fool you, at 10 years of age, he still has lots of energy and loves to get out on walks and have his play time in our off lead area. Terriers have a longer life span and often don’t tire as they age meaning they have lots of energy making them a great walking pal. Scooby would be best suited to a home with confident older children.
