Tinkerbell came into the NSPCA through our inspectors as an owner surrender, as she was sadly no longer allowed in her previous home. When she first arrived, she was understandably quiet and unsure, but since then she has truly come out of her shell and earned the nickname “our little pocket rocket.”
She has a big personality and the classic Staffie smile that melts hearts. Tinkerbell loves greeting everyone she meets with enthusiastic bum wags and a big grin, always ready to spread joy wherever she goes.
At times she can be a little exuberant, so she will need an experienced owner familiar with her breed who can continue her training and socialisation. Staff have been working hard with her, and she has already made lots of doggy friends that she enjoys going on daily walks with.
For now, Tinkerbell would be best suited as the only dog in the home, while still enjoying social time with dog pals out on walks. Due to her bouncy and excitable nature, a home with teenagers would be most suitable.
She would thrive in a quieter area, or with an owner committed to taking her on regular outings and adventures in calm environments where she can continue to learn and grow.
