Michael Maxwell
Director of Finance
Michael is a qualified accountant with over 20 years’ experience in various financial roles in both the private and non-profit sectors.
He is a member of the Global Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CGMA) and achieved first place in Ireland in one of his exams. After spending time in high-level roles in both the Irish Cancer Society and Chime, Michael has amassed a wealth of experience of the Irish charity sector and specifically the operation of national charities in Ireland.
Michael joined the NSPCA in early 2026 and is responsible for managing the Finance, Compliance and Governance functions of the organisation.
Michael also holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Certificate in Public Procurement.
