Free Will Writing Service
Writing or updating your Will doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive.
The NSPCA is pleased to offer supporters access to a free online Will writing service through our charity partner, FreeWill Ireland.
There is no charge for a standard Will, which is suitable for most people. If your circumstances are more complex, FreeWill Ireland can arrange for you to receive additional legal advice from a partner solicitor.

A Legacy that lives on
For generations, compassionate supporters have helped shape the future of animal welfare through gifts in their Wills.
One of the earliest recorded benefactors of the NSPCA was Miss Alice Mary Swifte, who passed away in 1909 at the age of 85, was one of the earliest recorded benefactors of the NSPCA (then DSPCA). A passionate advocate for animal welfare, she left £4,000 in her Will, equivalent to approximately €630,000 today, specifically to help protect cats.
Long before her passing, Miss Swifte made the thoughtful decision to support the NSPCA, believing that cats deserved the same care and protection as dogs. More than a century later, her legacy lives on through the thousands of cats rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed each year, and through ongoing efforts to strengthen animal welfare protections.
