Volunteer Drivers We’re seeking volunteer drivers to transport animals or supplies between NSPCA shelters and other charities. Ad hoc role; lifting carriers required.
Small Animal Care We care for rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, snakes, birds and more. Volunteers help clean pods, feed, and socialise them.
Cleaning Support, Cat Rehabilitation Our cat rehab cares for sick cats and kittens. High cleaning standards are vital, and volunteers help clean pods, litter trays, and bowls.
Dog Care – Wicklow Handle, harness and muzzle dogs, walk them in all weathers, clean kennels, provide comfort, follow safety procedures, and work with staff.

Cat Care – Dublin Our cattery volunteers assist with cleaning of the cat pods, feeding, socialising and grooming of the cats and kittens.

Meet & Greet Each week our Wicklow shelter welcomes many visitors. Meet and Greet Volunteers create a friendly atmosphere and support the public and our staff.
Equine Volunteering Our Equine Volunteers help care for horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, pigs, ducks and geese, meeting their daily needs in a safe, caring environment.
Cat Care – Longford Our volunteers assist with cleaning of the cat pods, feeding, socialising and grooming of the cats and kittens.
Dog Care – Longford Handle, harness and muzzle dogs, walk them in all weathers, clean kennels, provide comfort, follow safety procedures, and work with staff.
Maintenance We need volunteers with maintenance experience to help with repairs, upkeep and practical tasks, supporting staff and keeping the centre running.
