Animal Rescue
Every year, our teams rescue thousands of animals from situations of cruelty, neglect, abandonment and injury. We provide immediate support and care, giving vulnerable animals a second chance at life.
Animal Rehabilitation
Many of the animals who come into our care have endured neglect, abandonment, cruelty or significant trauma. Once safe in NSPCA care, our veterinary, animal care and rehabilitation teams provide the treatment, support and patience they need to heal both physically and emotionally. Through enrichment, socialisation and training, we help animals rebuild their confidence, learn to trust again and prepare for life in a loving forever home.
Veterinary Care
Our veterinary team provides expert treatment and compassionate care to animals in need. From emergency interventions to routine procedures, they help animals recover from illness, injury and neglect, giving them the best possible chance of a healthy future.
Inspectors & Prosecutions
Our authorised inspectors work to protect animals from cruelty, neglect and suffering. Responding to welfare concerns across Ireland, they investigate reports, support enforcement efforts and take action where necessary to ensure animals receive the protection they deserve.
Advocacy
Animals cannot speak for themselves, so we speak up for them. As Ireland’s leading animal welfare organisation, we work to strengthen protections for animals through policy development, public awareness campaigns and engagement with decision-makers. Our work helps shape legislation, improve welfare standards and drive meaningful change for animals across Ireland.
Education Programmes
Education is key to creating a kinder future for animals. Through school talks, work experience, shelter tours, kids camps,and community engagement, we promote responsible pet ownership and encourage compassion towards animals.
