Archie came into our care as an owner surrender after his owner sadly went into hospital care. The move into a shelter has been a big change for him, and he was understandably nervous at first. Despite this, Archie has been incredibly brave and is beginning to settle into his new routine.
As he grows in confidence, his lovely personality is shining through. Once he gets to know you, Archie is very affectionate and enjoys leaning in for cuddles and reassurance.
He still has a love for adventure, enjoying walks where he can explore with his nose and roll around in the grass. He would love a family who can take him on regular outings and help him enjoy life to the fullest.
Archie is a clever boy who is very motivated by treats, which will be great for continuing his training and building his confidence.
He would do best in a quiet and stable home where he can feel secure and be part of a family again. Archie could potentially live with another dog of a similar energy level, pending a successful meet.
Due to his shy nature, he would be best suited to a home with older children or teenagers.
