Meet Penny! This beautiful girl came into us originally from our Longford centre, along with her siblings, as a young puppy. They were all adopted out to loving homes shortly after, but unfortunately Penny now finds herself looking for a new home. Penny is a typical playful, energetic puppy, who loves being around people getting lots of attention, and getting up to some puppy mischief! We are looking for a family who have experience of large and restricted breeds, who will be committed to continuing training with Penny, to help her become the best adult dog she can be. Penny is now 8 months old and in her prime teenage stage, which can be very challenging for a dog in a shelter environment. Penny is a really intelligent girl, and loves learning new things and will work hard for some tasty treats! Her family have said she is a brilliant dog in the house and is toilet trained and sleeps well in her crate at night. Penny is a mix of Rottweiler, Labrador and Bull Breed, we are unsure of the exact cross however she is going to be large in size when fully grown, and will be a restricted breed cross, which means she will be required to be muzzled and kept on lead in any public areas. Penny is suited to a home with teenagers or adults only, and is best suited as the only dog in the home so she can lap up all the attention. Please do not apply if you do not have large to giant breed experience or if this will be your first time owning a dog.
