Millicent and Floofer are mother and daughter and came into the shelter when Floofer and her two sisters were very small. Millicent and these 3 babies had come from a hoarding situation and had lived with many rabbits in unsuitable conditions. Floofer and her sisters were very small when they came in and so they were with us a while while Millicent took excellent care of them. Millicent was always closest to Floofer and they’d spend all their time cuddling each other, so when the sisters were weaned they went to a foster home and we left Floofer with Millicent in the hopes of finding them a home together. They went to a foster home until Floofer was old enough to be spayed. She has now had her surgery and so finally these two are ready for their happily-ever-after together. Millicent is a little more shy and Floofer is a nosy affectionate girlie, so they compliment each other perfectly! They’ll be the sweetest additions to a lucky family.

Thank you for choosing to adopt rabbits from the NSPCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend rabbits be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 140 x 60cm for two rabbits with plenty of indoor free roam time.

Rabbits require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.

All our rabbits are microchipped, vaccinated and spayed/neutered.
